The Graddies 2021
The 2021 Graddies was the first year of the competition. Multiple universities across the UK submitted their students graduation films and then 10 finalist films were chosen by a panel of judges.
These films were then watched and judged by 3 industry professional judges.

2021 Winner
The 2021 winners were a group of students from The University of Sussex with their short film 'flutterby'.
A short story about a young man struggling to find his place in the world as he contemplates the morality of his own existence.
The award was presented by Tim Richards head of the BFI and founder of Vue cinemas at the award ceremony in London.
